The vineyards of Château Arnauton dominate the entire appellation on the southern slope of le tertre de Montahut. The vineyards is considered the highest in the entirewine region of Bordeaux and enable the winemaker to harvest the grapes at perfect ripeness. Benefiting from a unique clay and limestone soil, precise vineyard work and exceptional climate conditions, the wines of Château Arnauton are powerful, elegant and have a subtitle complexity achieved through aging for 12 months in French oak barrels.

In 1874, Feret’s third edition had already revealed Château Vermont as one of the jewels the appellation « Extract edition N°3 the vineyards of VERMONT have always been considered as one of the finest growths, not only of the region but of the entire Entre Deux Mers appellation. In 1986, my father purchased and replanted this entire vineyard with  hectares of vines encircling this XIX century castle. Since 2010, my team and I work to extract the best of its ‘terroir’ and restore this property to all its former glory. Our wines: Tradition red (fruity & aromatic), Rosé (direct presage) and Prestige (raised in oak casks) are elaborated with respecting our ‘terroir’ and the pure tradition of Bordeaux wines.  Our perpetual conquest is to satisfy you and procure pleasurable occasions to relish and share a convivial moment around a glass of Château Vermont.
